Julie's Family

One day last year we received a call from a past client named Julie. She wanted to have her family photographed. She lives in Missouri. I'll let her tell you her story.

I just picked up our photo--or should I say masterpiece--from the UPS store and I am blown away. It is SO fabulous and SO life like, I am in tears. I can't explain it--I have this huge hard thing to hang on my wall that is so personal and SO my family. How can something 2 dimensional have such depth and such life to it-- I don't understand. Marty (and Stella) and just so awesome with what they do. Stelcar was our wedding photographer 20 years ago because a friend had told me they were the best. Since moving to Missouri 15 years ago, I have been very frustrated because the photographers here just don't seem to "get it". I have never been able to duplicate the quality that Stelcar delivers. This past summer when we had our first grandchild in Connecticut it was a great opportunity for us to have Stelcar make another family masterpiece. I consider their work to be an heirloom for our family to pass through the generations-it is that good! On the funnier side, I have to tell you that when we first hung the portrait up, our dog wouldn’t stop barking at it! That tells you how life-like their work is. Thank you Stelcar—for doing it again! I don’t know how you do “it”—but I love it. You have been great to work with—especially with a group of 6 almost-adults and a 2-week old infant! I can not thank you enough to adequately express my gratitude, for what this portrait means to me.

I would add one more sentence to my previous blog: Unfortunately, the web site picture just doesn't do our portrait justice. The real thing is a million times better! Priceless.
